The 4-inch PEX-2000 Print Engines easily integrate into any label applicator for smooth daily operations, reducing integration effort and speeding up time-to-market.

The PEX-2000 is highly compatible with hardware and software for easy integration. It supports DB15 and DB25 interfaces and major printer brands’ GPIO emulations. The customisable printer language firmware supports major printer languages so template commands and print files can remain the same.

The PEX-2000 is reliable for 24/7 operations, compact to meet space constraints, and is easy to service. From its angle-adjustable peel-off module, advanced sensor design, durable TPH, to optional RFID and Ribbon Saver, the PEX-2000 provides precise functionality and future-proof technology. It delivers high imprint accuracy for labels with a minimum of 5mm length and printing deviation within ±0.4mm. It’s also compatible with the remote printer management tools, TSC Console and SOTI Connect.

The innovative PEX Series 4-inch Performance Print Engine incorporates a robust die-cast construction designed for years of reliability, ease of use, and cost-conscious serviceability. The PEX Series combines a precision print mechanism with high performance electronics to produce labels at up to 18 inches per second. In addition, the PEX Series supports 203, 300, and 600 dpi resolutions for all of your label formatting needs.

Designed for ease of integration, the PEX Series features a bolt-compatible construction with a commonly used GPIO interface and an easy to use colour display. The PEX Series offers simple integration into both new and existing label application installations. It is ideal for manufacturing and logistic applications where high speed and high demand label printing is required.

High Performance

The PEX Series can print high quality labels at 18 inches per second, one of the fastest speeds on the market. With the high precision label positioning, it can print labels as small as 5 mm in height. It offers multiple connectivity options including USB, GPIO, parallel, serial, Ethernet, USB host and optional 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth 4.0 module.

Powerful Internal Programming Tools

The firmware supports out-of-the-box compatibility with the ZPL and DPL label languages used in many print and apply applications. In addition, the TSPL programming language can be used to take any datastream from multiple sources, capture the needed data fields and insert them into label output. These powerful onboard programming tools can replace the need for additional computer hardware, saving thousands of dollars.
