With the Impact Acquire SDK, you get a uniform and comprehensive driver API for all major operating systems (Windows and Linux, x86_64, and ARM, including NVIDIA and MacOS), along with helpful tools for controlling our hardware and acquiring images for our cameras.
In addition to numerous wizards for optimizing image settings, the included configuration interface provides convenient access to camera parameters and useful analysis tools as well as image and video acquisition capabilities.
The Impact Acquire SDK is compatible with the current GenICam, GigE Vision, and USB3 Vision image processing standards.
Extensive endurance testing during development ensures high stability and robustness, proven in many demanding applications in a wide range of industries.
If you want to use a different or more advanced software, this is no problem.
Our hardware is supported by the most popular image-processing packages.
Our SDK can also be used under Windows and Linux x86_64 with cameras from other manufacturers that are compliant with image processing standards such as GenICam, GenTL (Producer), GigE Vision, and USB3 Vision.
A license is required for this.

Vision Acquire is a license for using GenICam-compliant third-party cameras in combination with the Impact Acquire software.
Impact Acquire is a uniform and comprehensive driver API with helpful tools for controlling cameras and acquiring images.
Use
For GenIcam compliant 3rd party cameras.
For Balluff cameras., For GenIcam-compliant 3rd party cameras, it is solely in combination with a BAI BVA – Balluff Vision Acquire license.
License model
No license is necessary for Balluff cameras.
Perpetual license BAI BVA – Balluff Vision Acquire is mandatory for 3rd party cameras.
